POSB Smart Buddy

Dear Parents/Guardians

Our school had implemented the POSB Smart Buddy e-payment system at the school canteen in Term 3.

For Students on MOE FAS scheme

While School Smart Concession Card is the default option for School Meal Subsidy, parents may opt and apply through POSB for your child/children to use the Smart Buddy watch/card. (To apply, see the links below.) The Smart Buddy pack will be delivered to the registered address, and your child/children must bring the Smart Buddy watch/card to General Office for configuration, as only one device can be used to access meal subsidy.

Please note that the School Meal Subsidy can only be used to purchase refreshments at the canteen. Any transactions made elsewhere, such as public transport or purchases outside school, will not be deducted from the School Meal Subsidy allocation.

Balance readers are installed around the school canteen where your child can tap his/her registered card/ watch to check the amount of school meal subsidy balance allocation.

Lost of concession Card/Watch

Students would need to make a replacement promptly or can bring along an unused Adult Ezlink card to the General Office for configuration. (Please see Annex A for reference)

For students who forget to bring their watch/card, they will be provided with refreshments e.g. biscuits/bottled water.

For non-MOE FAS Students

Parents may apply for the Smart Buddy watch/card and receive the pack at the registered address. Since non-MOE FAS students do not receive meal subsidies, no configuration of the watch/card is required.
